Gordini announced a partnership with Thindown by NIPI (Natural Insulation Products Inc.) to bring its patented down fabric insulation to gloves. 

A responsible and ethical alternative that outperforms other insulations, including traditional loose down, Thindown is featured in eight new Gordini styles for Fall 2022. 

The brand also expanded on its product offerings using its Clutch synthetic leather for Fall 2022.

Thindown is a goose-down fabric that eliminates the need for quilting, reduces seaming and cold spots and allows for full-coverage insulation. Breathable, water-repellent and machine washable, its proprietary construction enables “twice the warmth as loose down without adding bulk.” The down fabric is made in Italy and exclusively with traced down that is Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified.

With our new Fall 2022 product developments, we feel that Gordini is defining the new warmth standard in cold weather gear.”

Fall 2022 styles include:

  • Radiator Mitt, built for extreme outdoor conditions, is made with a bluesign approved shell, water-resistant Clutch synthetic leather palm, fingers and trim, Thindown insulation, Lavawool fleece lining, and Gore-Tex waterproof protection. 
  • Foundation and Foundation Mitt offer bluesign approved shell and lining, Clutch leather palm, fingers and trim, waterproof, windproof and breathable insert, and Thindown insulation. 
  • The Simplex is a lightweight, bluesign approved shell and lining fabric suited for cross-country skiing and everyday use with a packable layer of Thindown insulation, Clutch palm and finger area, moisture-wicking liner, and printed silicone grip.

The Elias Gauntlet and Elias Gauntlet Mitt were updated with Thindown insulation for Fall 2022. New lifestyle product offerings with Thindown include the Fayston for men and women, featuring a bluesign approved lining, Clutch synthetic leather shell and a moisture-wicking lining. The Sherpa Mitt for women offers a Sherpa fleece shell, Clutch palm, finger area and trim, and is waterproof and windproof protection.
