Golfsmith International is rebranding its seven Boston-area Golf Town stores to the Golfsmith brand and customer experience. The move is part of the companys growth strategy, as it builds on its success becoming the regions largest golf retailer and integrates all of its U.S. stores under the Golfsmith umbrella.

Customers will continue to receive the same world-class service and expertise they have come to enjoy, with the best selection of golfs premier brands and an interactive ‘try before you buy player experience. Golf Town gift cards and other Golf Town programs will still be honored at Golfsmith locations.

To celebrate the rebranding, Golfsmith is hosting Grand Opening Events April 5-7 at all seven Boston-area stores. More than $15,000 in golf gear and prize giveaways will be awarded at the newly named Golfsmith locations. All customers who visit a Golfsmith store on Friday, Saturday or Sunday can register to win a $1,000 shopping spree and other prizes including drivers and fairway woods-with winners to be announced at close of business Sunday. Additionally, the first 100 people to visit each of the seven locations when stores open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning will receive a goody bag.
