According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played in the U.S. tumbled 10.3 percent in October.
The biggest declines by region were seen in Mid Atlantic, 21.0 percent; East North Central, 19.1 percent; New England, 17.1 percent; West North Central, 15.3 percent; South Central, 13.9 percent; Mountain, 7.1 percent; and South Atlantic, 1.7 percent.
The only region seeing a gain was Pacific, up 0.7 percent.
For the year-to-date period. golf rounds played are now down 3.9 percent.
