Gander Mountain said it will open a new 120,000-square-foot store off I-95 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. on March 31.

The store at 100 Gander Way (at the intersection of I-95 and Northlake Boulevard) is Gander Mountain's fourth in Florida. A fifth store, located in Ocala, will open in May. Other stores are located in Jacksonville, Lake Mary and St. Augustine.

The grand opening of the store will be celebrated April 11th .

The 120,000-square-foot store features firearms, equipment for hunting, fishing (including a large assortment of salt water products and a fly shop), archery, scuba diving, a variety of apparel and footwear, camping equipment, and gifts. Fishing and power boats, ATVs, canoes, and kayaks will be displayed inside and outside of the store and there will be a special interior dock system display.

The store offers a full range of services including: on-site gunsmiths, a fine gun showroom, three bays for ATV service and repair, an elevated archery lane and full-service archery shop, line winding, boat and motor service, and a staff of associates with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products they provide.

“Gander Mountain is delighted to open our new store serving the Palm Beaches,” said Mark Baker, president and CEO of Gander Mountain. “We're proud to be a part of the great heritage of hunting and fishing in Florida. We have the largest network of stores in our industry and we continue to be more locally-relevant by offering products, services and knowledge that will help our customers create outstanding outdoor experiences with their friends and family in Florida.”

“This is one of the largest stores we've built so far,” Baker said. “The size allowed us to add new features such as a marine and water sports department, our new Tall Tales-Real Food restaurant and expanded lines of fishing gear for both fresh and saltwater use.”

The store will also contain a “Gander Mountain Lodge”, a meeting room provided free of charge for meetings of local outdoor, business or community groups. During the year Gander Mountain provides educational courses for outdoor enthusiasts in the Lodge and it offers more hunter safety programs through its Lodges than any other source in the United States.
