G3 Genuine Guide Gear Inc., a manufacturer of backcountry ski and snowboard equipment based in Vancouver, B.C., added new sales agencies ahead of the 2016/17 ski season to represent the brand in the Rocky Mountain, Southwestern and Northeastern regions.

Hi Altitude Sales and Consulting will cover the Rocky Mountain region, Gone Skiing Agency will manage the Northeast territory, and Matt Gibely will represent the Southwest. These new additions to the G3 sales force will help drive growth and build on relationships with retailers in three of the major ski markets in the United States.

The principals at each of the new agencies have deep roots in their respective regions and share G3’s passion for backcountry skiing.

“G3 is continuing a period of strong growth in the backcountry ski and board markets, and we’re excited to partner with experienced and fresh sales perspectives in these key territories,” said Chris Clark, sales director for G3. “This team brings an established sales acumen and strong knowledge of the ski landscapes in their regions. We’re excited to bring aboard a team of people who share the same goals and values as the G3 brand.”

High Altitude Sales and Consulting is based out of the Denver area, and will cover Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and Nebraska. The agency consists of Sara Hageman, Ryan Overstake, Jason Livingston and Matt Niedermiller

Annie DeWaters of Gone Skiing Agency has represented ski brands in the Northeast for more than 20 years. She will represent G3 in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

In the Southwest, Matt Gibely is an experienced outdoor and ski-industry sales representative based out of the Lake Tahoe area. He will represent G3 in California, Nevada and Arizona.
