OutDoor 2005 which takes place from the 21st to the 24th July at the Friedrichshafen showground will break all records in the show’s twelve year history.

By February 2005, 360 companies had pre-booked exhibition space which is a 64% increase on last years number of 220 at the same time. The number of square metres booked has also jumped from 11,300 sqm, to 17,000 sqm and there’s still five months to go before the show takes place.

Exhibitors have registered from over 34 countries and 70% are now international. New exhibitors include companies such as Aiale, Ciclo Sport, Dunham, Ecco, Karrimor and Timberland. The show will be bigger, better, broader and more international than ever before.

Now in its twelfth year, OutDoor offers the perfect platform for international companies to reach both a European and worldwide retail audience. The show is strongly supported by the European Outdoor Group (EOG) which represents the worlds leading brands and the EOG works closely with the Show Project Team to ensure that the needs of the exhibitors and visitors are met effectively. For 2005 we look forward to beating last years visitor numbers which totalled over 14,000.

OutDoor 2005 is focussed on the needs of the specialist outdoor trade and to reflect this, the supporting programme is heavily geared to providing the retail trade with first class information. Entitled “Changes and opportunities of the specialist trade” this programme will be presented by The European Retail Network (for more info go to EHI at www.ehi.org), an organisation that has been providing unbiased support to the industry for over 25 years.
