Form appointed Christopher Stadler as a Board Member and hired Kevin Abt as chief revenue officer, timed with the fitness tech company’s next growth phase.
The company said Stadler and Abt’s experience as seasoned industry veterans in the fitness technology space is “perfectly matched to propel the company forward in its upcoming chapter.”
Stadler brings “extensive knowledge and expertise” to the Form Board of Directors. He joins the board with over 20 years of experience in executive marketing leadership, working on major global brands, including Tide, Pantene, Ralph Lauren, Equinox, and Ironman. Most recently, he was the global chief marketing officer for the smart home gym company Tonal, overseeing brand marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, retail, and creative. Stadler is also an Emmy Award-winning and five-time Emmy-nominated executive producer for the Ironman World Championship on NBC. He developed the ten-episode docuseries Ironman: Quest for Kona for NBC Sports. He also developed global media partnerships with Red Bull and Facebook.
“Form is transforming sports performance through its revolutionary AR-enhanced eyewear, and its commitment to empowering athletes of all skill levels is truly remarkable,” said Stadler. “After spending over a decade working in the sports and fitness industry, I look forward to working with this exceptional team to continue expanding the limits of innovation in this space.”
With over ten years of experience as a senior sales and marketing executive, Abt brings “invaluable expertise to the Form team.” Most recently, he was VP of global sales at Wahoo Fitness, where he spent over a decade leading revenue generation, product pricing strategy, business development, and global omnichannel strategy for its connected indoor and outdoor training ecosystem.
“Form completely changed the world of swimming when they launched the world’s first smart swim goggles on the market. The team behind this company are some of the most driven and innovative folks in the industry, and I can’t wait to lend my expertise to continue to push the boundaries between tech and sport,” said Abt. “The Form Smart Swim Goggles and platform truly offer a game-changing experience, and I look forward to building out the team and accelerating growth at a global level.”
Launched in 2019, Form introduced Smart Swim Goggles. Using the goggles’ augmented reality display, swimmers can see their performance metrics, including pace per 100, distance, calories, and stroke rate in real time. In 2021, the company added guided workouts powered by the goggles.
“With deep-rooted backgrounds in sports technology and an impressive track record in building brands and driving revenue growth, both Christopher and Kevin are undoubtedly assets to the Form leadership team. Christopher’s extensive work to build global consumer brands will provide undeniable value to Form’s Board of Directors, and Kevin’s unique insights into the industry’s landscape, coupled with a forward-thinking approach, promises a powerful synergy for Form,” said Dan Eisenhardt, company CEO. “We look forward to the contributions of Christopher and Kevin as we move forward into the next era of success at Form.”
