Tremblant Capital Group, which owns 5.1 percent of Skechers, wrote to the company’s board Wednesday urging it to end its Skechers’ dual-class share structure, start an aggressive share buyback program, pay a dividend and improve its communication with investors, according to a regulatory filing.

NRF: Nearly 180 Million Shop Over Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend
According to the annual survey released by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics, nearly 180 million Americans shopped during the five-day holiday shopping period from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday. The number of shoppers compares with 186.4 million shoppers in 2020 but exceeded the NRF’s initial expectations by over 21 million and is in line with the average of the last four years.
