Nike announced a new remote work policy that will allow employees to work remotely up to four weeks a year.

According to Business Insider, the change came amid criticism from employees, particularly in technology positions, of the requirement that employees work three days a week at their offices starting May 3.

An increase in attrition was also cited.

“We listened to your feedback and will continue to do so,” Chief HR Officer Monique Matheson wrote in an internal e-mail attained by Business Insider. “We hope you enjoy this additional flexibility. And let me know how you feel about Four Week Flex – I welcome your thoughts.”

The four weeks off can be taken in one-week increments and combined with time-off and sabbaticals.

Nike has adjusted its back-to-office plans several times due to rising COVID cases and employee feedback. It’s also piloting a remote schedule for some employees.
