Crocs, Inc. announced that Deanna Bratter joined the business as vice president, global head of sustainability.

In this newly created position, Bratter is responsible for driving the company’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 and strengthening its commitment and impact across environmental sustainability, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG).

Bratter joins Crocs from Danone North America, where she was vice president, sustainable development/one planet.one health leading its strategy and progress on climate change, responsible sourcing, restoring natural ecosystems, improving sustainable packaging, and supporting people and communities. Before Danone North America, Bratter led corporate sustainability for WhiteWave Foods.

In July 2021, Crocs outlined a strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and has progressed by using sustainable ingredients across its product line, sustainable alternatives for its packaging, giving a second life to shoes, and investing in responsible resource use, including a transition to renewable energy.
