FootBalance, an maker of custom footbeds, teamed up this month with Sports Authority to raise more than $2,000 to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
During a two-day event October 15 and 16 called the “Treat Your Feet Wellness Event”, Sports Authority corporate employees each donated $10 to the fund, and in exchange got fitted with 100% custom heat molded footbeds from FootBalance. FootBalance fit experts brought mobile molding units to Sports Authority’s corporate offices in Englewood, Colorado, offering each employee a complete foot analysis and custom heat molded footbeds as a reward for their donation.
“It was an outstanding event,” says FootBalance Managing Director Jeremy Town. “Having lost a loved one less than a month ago to breast cancer, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. The amount of support from this event is incredible and inspiring. We were honored to participate.”
The Breast Cancer Research Fund works to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer by providing critical funding for research and increasing public awareness about good breast health.
