Fleet Feet franchisee Michelle Fogle is opening her third store in Jacksonville, NC on April 16. Fogle opened her first Fleet Feet store at the Forum Shopping Center in Wilmington 10 years ago, followed by a second Wilmington location two years ago.
Fogle’s newest addition to her store portfolio and the broader Fleet Feet of stores sees the largest franchisor of run specialty continuing its North Carolina expansion.
Fogle’s business has received high marks for growth, employee development and community engagement, “expanding from a staff of five to 42 employees,” said Fleet Feet. Fogle’s Fleet Feet Wilmington store has “trained over 350 community members for races ranging from 5Ks to marathons, and hosts two fun run groups with over 250 participants,” the company continued in a media release.
“Fleet Feet is more than just a running store; we’re a place where people come to find solutions, achieve their goals and connect with a supportive community,” said Fogle. “Jacksonville is a thriving city, and I’m excited to bring Fleet Feet’s personalized outfitting experience to this area.”
Fleet Feet Jacksonville will host a grand opening on May 10. The store will offer a curated selection of performance footwear, apparel and accessories, including from Brooks, New Balance, Vuori, and Rabbit. Fogle said customers will have access to Fleet Feet’s fit ID foot scanning technology, which allows employees to gather information about customer’s feet by taking precise measurements of their foot length, width and arch height to make footwear suggestions.
“Michelle has built a reputation for outstanding service and community engagement,” said John Moloznik, vice president of franchise operations and development at Fleet Feet, Inc. Her dedication to helping customers move comfortably, combined with her proven success in Wilmington, makes her the perfect leader to bring Fleet Feet’s personalized experience to Jacksonville.”
Fogle’s commitment to community extends beyond her three stores. She actively supports charitable organizations in the Cape Fear region, focusing on youth enrichment, military families and those experiencing housing instability.
