Fila USA CEO Tom O'Riordan has named industry veteran Greg Niel as Vice President of Apparel Sales. In his new role, Mr. Niel will assume responsibility for improving Fila USA's retail customer relationships and the brand's penetration in branded athletic apparel distribution channels.
Mr. Niel, 51, most recently handled national accounts and southwest regional sales for Lugz, a young men's footwear brand. Prior to that, he was at Adidas for over 15 years where he held a variety of sales related positions, from Apparel National Account Manager to handling key accounts such as Footaction and JCPenney. Mr. Niel also operated his own sales agency for Adidas for four years.
He has over 26 years' sales management experience in the athletic apparel and footwear category.

Greg's key leadership experience and past results will be an asset to Fila USA.”
Born and raised in Louisiana, Mr. Niel graduated from Northeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts. He has spent most of his career in Texas. In his spare time, Mr. Niel enjoys fishing, hunting and cooking. Mr. Niel will relocate from Dallas to New York with his wife Leigh and two children and will work out of Fila USA's New York Showroom and Apparel Design Center.
