Felt Bicycles announced that pro triathlete Ashleigh Gentle has renewed her partnership with the Southern California-based brand for the 2021 season.
The Australian cyclist first joined with Felt Bicycles in 2014. Since then, she has scored several victories and top finishes in the ITU World Triathlon Series and a record seven victories at the Noosa Triathlon.
Gentle’s biggest goal for the 2021 season is to win the triathlon event at this year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo. The Games were postponed in summer 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled for 2021.
“I’m extremely excited to continue to work with Felt Bicycles into 2021,” said Gentle. “It will be our eighth year working together. I not only love the fast bikes but the feeling of truly being part of the Felt family. We are heading into the Olympic year and the AR Aero road bike will be my bike of choice. I’m looking forward to representing Felt on the racecourse.”
“We are thrilled to continue working with Ashleigh in 2021. She always impresses us with her drive and her ability to adapt to these challenging times. She still has her eye on the prize and will strive to bring home a medal at the Olympics this summer. But however her race schedule evolves, we know that Ashleigh will continue to be an exemplary representative for the Felt brand and for the triathlon community,” said Eric Sakalowsky, vice president, Global Marketing, Felt Bicycles.
