Faytex Corp announced a number of important initiatives heading into the new year. The company has added new footwear fabrics and merchandised its product line by offering ‘good, better and best’ linings, upper fabrics and packages at ‘good, better and best prices.’
“We’re very excited about this consumer and retailer-friendly direction to our story,” said Cindy Stangl, Faytex President. “Our customers are already responding positively to the flexibility in price and product selection we are now able to offer them. It allows line builders to present a consistent Dri-Lex comfort story from opening to top price points. For example, our best selling product Dri-Lex Ultimate Suede has been the perfect lining material for high-end boots and shoes but the message was lost at lower price points. We can now deliver similar comfort, performance and durability at value price points for other shoes in a brand’s line-up. This helps brands tell a consistent story at retail. Expanding the team in Asia and re-focusing our line will be a key catalyst in the new year.”
To accommodate both actual and anticipated growth in Asia, Faytex has also recently moved to expanded headquarters in Guangdong, China, and has added eight new staffers in various sales, product development, customer service and management roles.
“Given our present and anticipated growth curve in Asia, this expansion was a necessary and logical move for us to make at this time,” said Kurt Stangl, head of Faytex’s Asian operations. “The addition of these new team members will help us meet the needs of our brand customers, their factory partners and allow us to add value to their shoemaking process.”
Echoing Stangl’s words, Cindy Stangl added, “These moves are reflective of our continuing commitment to the Asian side of our business and will help us accelerate expansion plans there. As a result of these moves, we now offer enhanced customer service, production, quality control, sourcing and logistical services. Our investment in both the team and our new office is substantial but absolutely essential to properly service our growing customer base and their factories in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and other parts of Asia.”
