Evolve Sports and Designs, parent company of rock climbing shoe brand
Evolv, said Jay Peery has joined the company as director of sales.
Peery joins Evolv after stints in sales management with Montrail, Sorel
and END Footwear in Portland, OR.

“It’s
wonderful to be getting back to my roots in the core of the Outdoor
Industry,” said Peery. “Quality, performance and people come first in
everything evolv does, which are values I have always identifed with.”

Long
time evolv employee, Buck Branson, has been promoted to the role of
Minister of Culture. His responsibilities will include marketing,
promotions and managing Evolv’s roster of grassroots and National
caliber athletes. Branson commented that “My relationship with Evolv
started as a sponsored athlete. Marketing and our team have always been
my passions, and these passions are now my full time focus.”

is joining the evolv team at a transitional point in our history as a
performance footwear brand,” states evolv CEO and co-founder Brian
Chung. “After a short time in the market we have managed a tremendous
amount of growth and innovation. We now have a strong team in Buck and
Jay to drive the continuation of that trend, as well as to help us find
our way into the performance trail footwear marketplace.”
