Evo, a Seattle-based outdoor and winter and action sports retailer best known for its online business, has opened its third physical location in the country.
The new location at 860 Broadway in Denver (it also has locations in Portland, OR and Seattle) is in partnership with an existing Edgeworks and Bicycle Doctor ski and bike shop, which Evo acquired in May 2016. The updated store “will combine Evo’s e-commerce and retail innovation capabilities with the legendary local service, expertise and more than two decades of experience provided by Edgeworks and Bicycle Doctor,” officials said.
In cooperation with local developers, Evo renovated and expanded the Denver location to feature a full-service ski, snowboard and bike shop, alongside a retail floor with Evo’s curated mix of hard goods, technical apparel, street wear, footwear and accessories.
“Staying true to its commitment to art, culture, community and charity, Evo has integrated a dedicated art gallery into the nearly 10,000-square-foot retail space and will host a series of grand opening events starting on December 5, benefitting Denver’s SOS Outreach, a non-profit organization for at-risk youth,” officials added.
“We are excited to engage with such a thriving community in Denver,” Evo Founder and CEO Bryce Phillips said. “The Evo DNA is all about creating a place where people who share passions for the outdoors come together, and Denver is the perfect location to bring that to life.”
