Etnies on Friday, April 22, handed out 2,000 pairs to the homeless to mark the Los Angeles Mission's 75th anniversary. Over the last 13 years etnies has flowed 32,000 pairs of shoes to homeless people living in Los Angeles.
“Etnies congratulates the Los Angeles Mission on 75 years of helping get the homeless off the street and back on their feet,” said Pierre-Andre Senizergues, Etnies owner and CEO. “Etnies is celebrating our 25 year anniversary this year too and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to serve the homeless together with hundreds of volunteers. Our hope is that these new shoes become a symbol for those who receive them — it just takes one step forward to make a change.”
