Elemental Herbs, the maker of organic lip balms and sunscreen, was recently honored by the San Luis Obispo, CA Chamber of Commerce with the 2010 “Green Award.”  One of six businesses recognized in the county, Elemental Herbs was selected from more than 50 nominees based on its efforts to reduce pollution, conserve resources and improve air and water quality.

“Our mission from day one has been to serve both humans and the planet with organic, natural products that emphasize the connection between wilderness and wellness, and  manufactured in a way that is easy on the earth. It's always great to be recognized for our efforts,” said Caroline Duell, president and founder of Elemental Herbs.

San Luis Obispo County is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Central Coast of California. Elemental Herbs is headquartered in the city of Los Osos, with roots extending to its organic farm in neighboring Morro Bay.
