Two months after the earthquake and subsequent tsunami devastated northeastern Japan, El Naturalista’s department of corporate social responsibility announced the donation of 7,329.00 Euros in relief funds to Japan. The money was collected through an online campaign that the shoe brand started in April, and which was enthusiastically supported by everyone connected with the brand.

El Naturalista’s Japanese team, lead by Koji Tanemoto, will ensure that the donation will reach the most impacted areas in the northeast of the country that continue to need our support.

This campaign is part of El Naturalista’s Atauchi Project. Since 2004, El Naturalista has designated a share of the profits from every shoe sold to Project Atauchi to fund humanitarian projects and educational projects in Tanzania, Haiti, Peru, and Japan as well as to different social initiatives in Spain.
