Easton Hockey has signed Taylor Hall, one of the top prospects in the NHL draft, to an endorsement deal.
Easton said Hall led the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL to back to back Memorial Cups in 2009 and 2010, winning MVP both seasons. Known as an assassin with the puck, Hall scored 123 goals in just 3 seasons in the OHL, while adding 35 in three trips to the playoffs. Hall used the Easton S19 stick to lead the OHL in scoring during the regular season and playoffs in 2010.
“Taylor Hall is the most exciting prospect to come to the NHL in a long time, he's going to be an absolute star,” said Chris Zimmerman, President of Easton Sports. “With his natural offensive ability and dangerous creativity with the puck he will be the perfect skater to showcase Easton's cutting edge gear for years to come.”
As an Easton endorsee, Hall will wear and market Easton Hockey gear, as well as participate in the brand's global marketing campaign “Confidence Is Everything.” The Canadian-born star of the Ontario Hockey League will also be involved in the development of future Easton designs.
“There's no bigger jump in hockey than from juniors to the NHL and I'll need the right kind of gear that can stand up to the demands of the way I play, and that's Easton,” Hall said. “From the start of my first game in the NHL, I will be using Easton.”
Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed.
