Both Merrell and Chaco promoted key team members. Chaco will get two dedicated sales managers while Merrell will continue its commitment to outdoor specialty retailers with a dedicated manager overseeing this important channel of distribution.

All promotions and changes are effective immediately.

Tom Stolz has been promoted to National Sales Manager for Chaco.  In his new role, Stolz will manage Chaco's U.S. sales force and will be responsible for all aspects of the selling effort in Chaco's home market.  Stolz and his family will relocate to West Michigan to work at the company's Rockford headquarters.

Cindy Feinauer has been promoted to Western Regional Sales Manager for Chaco. In this new position, Feinauer will be responsible for overseeing Chaco sales activities in the Rockies, Northwest, and Southwest territories, and will provide support for several key national Chaco accounts and will report to Stolz.

On the Merrell side, Greg Glover has been promoted to Key Account Manager – Outdoor Specialty.  This position represents Merrell's continued commitment to outdoor specialty retailers as it focuses and grows its efforts with these partners.  In addition, Aaron Brown will move into Glover's former position as National Technical Representative Manager.  In this role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the Tech Rep team for Merrell Footwear, Merrell Apparel, and Chaco.  Both Glover and Brown will report to Steve Peterson, Merrell's Vice President of Sales.

“These changes demonstrate our commitment to providing unrivaled service to our customers,” said Seth Cobb, Vice President and General Manager of Merrell and Chaco.  “They also reveal our commitment to promoting from within – all of the involved team members originally entered the company through our tech rep program.  These types of career growth opportunities are created through a combination of robust training and development programs like Merrell University, a commitment to learning, and the generation of strong results.  It is our goal to create more such opportunities for our team members as Merrell and Chaco achieve their growth objectives in the years ahead.”

Merrell is a brand within the Outdoor Group, a division of Wolverine World Wide, Inc. that also includes Chaco and Patagonia Footwear.
