Easton Baseball/Softball plans to open a new 90,000-square-foot global headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA.  Currently located in Van Nuys, CA, the company’s new multi-million dollar facility will feature office space for more than 100 employees, a state-of-the-art Research and Development lab, a world-class Easton Experience Center to test product and additional space for continued growth.

“The Easton brand is built around the concept of sports engineering and this new facility will amplify our ability to create products that deliver real and meaningful performance advantages to the athletes we serve,” said Todd Harman, executive VP, Easton Baseball/Softball. “Our new facility in Thousand Oaks meets our unique needs from a sales, marketing and R&D perspective, and it also represents our leading brand position as well as our commitment to innovation and moving the game forward.”

The company’s headquarters includes its executive management team and the company’s sales, marketing, operations and R&D departments. Easton Baseball/Softball’s new facility in Thousand Oaks is 40 percent larger than its current space in Van Nuys, and will be built to accommodate the company’s plans for continued growth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Easton, one of the most iconic and innovative baseball and softball brands in the nation to our City,” said Mayor of Thousand Oaks Al Adam. “They will be a great addition to the local business community.”

The added space allows the company to significantly expand and renovate its R&D lab to include state-of-the-art research, fabrication and testing equipment to assist in the continued development of the most innovative equipment in baseball and softball. The facility will also feature a 15,000-square foot Easton Experience Center. This indoor testing and training facility will host top athletes and teams for product fittings and trial, and will be fully equipped to conduct rigorous performance validation for the next-generation of breakthrough Easton products.

In addition, each product category, such as bats, ball gloves, helmets and training gear, will have a dedicated product showroom where product can be displayed for meetings with top retail partners and teams. Each product category will also have a dedicated design and development center where industrial designers, graphic designers, marketers and category managers can collaborate daily on the latest product concepts.

Easton Baseball/Softball’s Thousand Oaks office will also include a 2,000-square foot modern fitness center to promote its active living lifestyle for employees.

“Easton Baseball/Softball will make a great addition to our Thousand Oaks business community, and we are proud that this premier company chose our building for its new global headquarters,” said Rob Martin, president, Martin Properties, Inc., the building’s owner.
