Dick’s Sporting Goods said several former NFL greats will appear this weekend at grand openings of its new stores in Oklahoma City and Monroe, LA.
Barry Sanders, Serge Ibaka, Thurman Thomas, Billy Sims and other will make special appearances this weekend during grand openings at four new stores in Oklahoma City. The new stores, located in Shops at Quail Springs, Fritts Farm (Moore, OK), Westgate Marketplace, and Town Center Plaza (Midwest City, OK), will open their doors on Wednesday, Oct. 31 and kick off the weekend of festivities on Friday, Nov. 2 with ribbon cutting ceremonies.
Kevin Faulk will make a special appearance Satuday, Nov. 3 during the grand opening celebrations for Dick’s Sporting Goods new store in Monroe, LA. That store also opens for business Wednesday, Oct. 31.
As of Sept. 21, 2012, the company operated 500 Dick's Sporting Goods stores in 44 states.
