CBL & Associates Properties announced that Dick's Sporting Goods will join Layton Hills Mall in Layton, Utah. The new 46,500-square-foot sporting goods store will locate in the former Mervyns, which closed in December 2008. The new store is scheduled to open in October 2011.
“Dick's Sporting Goods will be an excellent addition to Layton Hills Mall and further demonstrates our ongoing efforts to enhance the shopping experience at each of our centers,” said Stephen Lebovitz, president and chief executive officer of CBL & Associates Properties, Inc.
The store will be the second Dick's Sporting Goods store in Utah, with the other one at the Gateway in Salt Lake City.
