Dick’s Sporting Goods reported plans to open House of Sport stores at Tampa International Plaza, its first in Florida, and another at Brandywine Town Center, its first in Delaware.
Dick’s has 12 House of Sport locations open—nine opened in July and August 2023 in Baybrook, TX, at Baybrook Mall; Katy, TX, at The Shops at Park West; Champaign, IL at Market Place Shopping Ctr; Chesapeake, VA at Greenbrier Square; Davenport, IA at Davenport Commons; Johnson City, NY at Oakdale Commons; Fayetteville, NC at Freedom Town Centre; Latham, NY at Latham Farms and Scranton, PA at Viewmont Mall.
The retailer’s House of Sport stores are approximately 100,000 square feet, offering various products and other in-store experiences, including a climbing wall, multiple golf bays with TrackMan simulators, and multi-sport cages. The stores also focus on connecting with local communities through partnerships and events.
The new stores complement DKS first three House of Sport stores in Victor, NY; Knoxville, TN; and Minnetonka, MN. The company plans to open 75 to 100 House of Sport stores by 2027.
