Dick’s Sporting Goods will open its second Public Lands store in Columbus, OH on November 5. It will also open its second Golf Galaxy Performance Center in Woodbury, MN, two additional Going, Going, Gone! locations, two Warehouse Sale locations, and two relocated Dick’s Sporting Goods locations.
The 60,000-square-foot Public Lands store, located at Polaris Fashion Place, 1510 Polaris Parkway in Columbus, will feature a 30-foot rock wall, an in-store gear repair and rental department and specialized shops for cycling, camping, fishing, paddling, climbing, running, and hiking. It will also include an “elevated” customer service department to “support the local outdoor community through conservation and access and equity-based initiatives.”
One percent of all Public Lands sales will go back into local and national conservation efforts. The grand opening runs from November 5-7.
The Golf Galaxy Performance Center, a redesigned concept featuring an “elevated experience for golfers,” in Woodbury, MN, will offer access to TrackMan and BioMech golf technologies, hitting bays, custom fittings, and golf lessons from a Class A Certified PGA Professional. The location expands upon Dick’s investment in golf, including 18 remodeled Golf Galaxy locations and increased technology offerings in all Golf Galaxy locations in the U.S. by the end of 2021.
The store will be located at Tamarack Village Shopping Center, 8320 Tamarack Village in Woodbury. A grand opening is planned for November 5-7.
Going, Going, Gone! locations offer deals on footwear and apparel of up to 70 percent. A new store at Arizona Mills Mall, 5000 S. Arizona Mills Circle, Suite 435, Tempe, AZ will open on November 3. A second location will open on November 10 at Ross Towne Center, 7219 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA.
Two Dick’s Sporting Goods Warehouse Sale locations, which offer deep discounts on footwear and apparel brands also at up to 70 percent off, are planned. The stores will open at North Mall Shops at 2701 North Mall Road, Virginia Beach, VA and 500 Lakewood Center Mall, Lakewood, CA. Both stores open on November 15.
The two relocated Dick’s Sporting Goods locations will be at Westfarms Center, Farmington, CT, and The Plaza at Burr Corners, Manchester, CT. Grand openings are planned to run from November 13 -14.
