CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an internationally recognized developer of Web-based sales order management software for vendors that sell consumer brands through specialty retail channels, announced that Dale of Norway, headquartered in Bergen, Norway is now conducting business using CenterStone’s iVendix application as their sales order management solution for both their European and North American markets.

“We have been looking for a sales order management solution for Dale of Norway for quite some time, but until we found CenterStone Technologies, we were not convinced that other vendors truly understood the unique challenges and complexities of the snow sports and apparel business,” said Olav Munch, CEO of Dale of Norway. “To remain competitive, we know that we need a user-friendly sales order application, and we were impressed by the level of professionalism that CenterStone demonstrated. Their sales order application is going to allow Dale of Norway to provide 24/7 access to product information and allow our European and North American retailers to place orders directly through CenterStone's Sales Management application.”

With the new iVendix application live for thousands of Dale’s specialty retailers on two continents using five languages and transactions in all local currencies, Dale of Norway will be leveraging CenterStone’s experience with a host of other clients in the snow sports, outdoor recreation and apparel industries. It will be particularly valuable for Dale of Norway to be showcased alongside such well-known brands as The North Face, Pearl Izumi, Marmot, Helly Hansen, Rip Curl, Billabong, Sport Obermeyer, Smith Optics, ExOfficio, KHS Bicycles and many others.

“This ‘trade show’ environment that is offered through the CenterStone solution will make it that much easier for our customers to do business with us. Ultimately, it will allow Dale of Norway to serve customers more efficiently and effectively by getting our quality products to our retailers in a more timely manner. With this new sales order management application Dale of Norway expects to set a new standard for customer service in the snow sports market,” Munch explained.

Tom Detmer, president and C.E.O. of CenterStone Technologies, commented, “We are very pleased that another multi-national company, with a strong presence in specialty retail shops in both Europe and North America is now live on CenterStone’s iVendix platform. We believe that our expertise in lifestyle apparel, footwear, snow sports, sporting goods and outdoor recreation will be a great benefit to Dale of Norway. With more than 25,000 specialty retailers in North America and Europe that have access to our web-based technology, Dale of Norway will see outstanding adoption rates from their existing dealers. As a result, we will help them reduce the cost of processing orders as well as drive revenue growth by increasing the total number of orders placed.”
