Keith Daly, the former president & CEO of Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Footaction USA divisions of Foot Locker, Inc.; Craig Levra, chairman & CEO of Sport Chalet; and former NSGA Chairman of the Board Mickey Newsome, chairman & CEO of Hibbett Sports, will be featured on a panel at the upcoming NSGA Management Conference. The panel's topic will be “The Next 5 Years “Visions of Leading Retailers.”

The panelists will share their views of how the sporting goods industry will evolve during the next five years, and a question and answer session will follow.

Later Monday morning, former NSGA Chairman of the Board Ron Menconi, CEO of Ron Menconi Consulting Company, will share what he and his former company, Joe's Sports and Outdoors (formerly GI Joe's), experienced as the company was taken over by a private equity firm and then was forced into liquidation during the 2009 credit crunch.

In his presentation, “Lessons Learned from the Demise of a Successful Retail Chain,” he will share what exit strategies should have been in place and how attendees can protect their long-time employees or family members in a business.
