Craft Sportswear North America has promoted Ming Tan to manager of custom sales.

Craft’s custom division grew 96 percent in 2014, and CEO Eric Schenker says he expects more of the same in the year ahead.  “We expect that pace to continue under Ming’s leadership, as Craft offers even more custom product offerings for cycling, cross-country ski and triathlon.”

In addition to his new role, Ming will continue to serve as Craft’s Independent Sales Rep for Northern California. Tan has nearly 20 years of experience in the outdoor sports industry, having served as vice president and general manager for companies such as Ritchey Design and Upland Sports Group where he managed the custom business.  Tan also established LOOK Cycle USA, a stand-alone subsidiary to LOOK International, and managed that startup until 2009.

In addition to Ming’s promotion, Donald Snoop will be moving from custom customer service into a full-time dedicated custom sales role to focus on Craft North America’s home market in the Northeast.

What makes Craft’s custom program (www.craftcustom.com) especially unique is that the product offerings are exactly the same products being worn by the professional teams they sponsor, including the Orica Green Edge Cycling Team and Sweden’s National Cross Country Ski Team.
