Costa sunglasses recently added Amanda Perryman, director of pro and conservation programs, and Rob Sabin, college community leader, to its team.   


A Florida native, Perryman is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a master’s degree in international business.  As pro and conservation program leader, Perryman will manage recruitment and marketing initiatives between Costa’s pro staff members and the company. In addition, she will work alongside Costa’s conservation partners to spread the word and engage communities in important sustainability efforts.


Perryman is certified as both a rescue diver and as an emergency first responder. She is a member of Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group and the YMCA Strong Kids Silent Auction Committee. In her free time, she enjoys saltwater fishing, fly fishing, hunting and participating in triathlons.


Sabin received a bachelor’s degree from the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration at The University of Alabama. He majored in marketing with a concentration in consumer behavior, and minored in both English and sales.


In his role at Costa, Sabin will manage the company’s collegiate marketing program. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and fishing in both fresh and salt waters.


“Heading into 2011, our focus continues to move the needle forward with initiatives that protect our waters and inspire epic outdoor adventures,” said Al Perkinson, vice president of marketing for Costa. “We look for team members, like Amanda and Rob, who share a passion for protecting the planet and want to spread that message and encourage others to become more involved.”


Based in Florida and owend by A.T. Cross, Costa has closely tied its conservation initatives to propogating sustainable fishing practices.
