Collegiate Pacific believes that the claims made against it in a lawsuit recently filed by Costa Brava Partners and two other related shareholders are entirely without merit. The only claim made against Collegiate Pacific is for “aiding and abetting” alleged breaches of fiduciary duty by certain former and present officers and directors of Sport Supply Group. Collegiate Pacific intends to seek prompt dismissal of the claims made against it.
