Puma said that as part of its acquisition of Cobra, effective July 1st 2010, PUMA Canada will be the exclusive managing entity of this newly formed division called COBRA-PUMA GOLF Canada.

This new division will be the selling, marketing and operational arm for both PUMA Golf's inventive footwear, apparel and accessories designs and Cobra Golf's advanced equipment, with superior performance. COBRA-PUMA GOLF Canada will help bring the game to golfers of all abilities, attitudes and styles across the country.

COBRA-PUMA Golf CANADA will be led by Ted Fletcher, President of PUMA Canada and long time industry professional within the golf trade. An industry expert, Fletcher will also take a seat on the newly formed Board of COBRA-PUMA GOLF. Fletcher's expertise and keen understanding of the golf world prompted this appointment and will surely bring a fresh perspective to the newly formed company.

COBRA-PUMA GOLF CANADA will take over full control of Cobra sales, distribution, operations, merchandising and marketing across the country as of July 1, 2010. The newly formed division will be located in PUMA Canada corporate headquarters in Ville St. Laurent, Quebec.
