Cloudveil has named James Samuel to a new position, Director of Global Sales, while Ned Hutchinson assumes North American Sales Management responsibilities.


Samuel, who brings over a decade of global sales experience and extensive outdoor and fitness industry market knowledge to the position, has served as Cloudveil’s Senior International Sales Manager for the past year. Samuel will manage Cloudveil’s worldwide sales campaign from the brand’s satellite office/showroom in Boulder, CO.


“Twelve months and over 20 countries later, the successful introduction of the Cloudveil brand to the global market has proven the unique niche that the brand holds outside of the U.S.,” Samuel stated. “I look forward to growing awareness and distribution throughout the global marketplace while continuing to work with the incredible in-house product, marketing and sales teams.”


Hutchinson, who began his tenure as Cloudveil’s Angling Product Manager four years ago, migrated internally to serve as the Angling Category Sales Manager for the past year. Hutchinson will manage the domestic growth of the brand from Cloudveil’s Jackson Hole headquarters.


“I have a deep passion for many of the outdoor pursuits for which our brand is designed and I look forward to growing Cloudveil’s domestic distribution, working closely with our in-house team, James, our outdoor and angling specialty dealers and sales force,” said Hutchinson.
