Climb High, the U.S. distributor of Mammut, will once again join forces with Outward Bound, a national non-profit educational-adventure organization, in offering a second annual Outdoor Appreciation Scholarship award in 2004. The scholarship recipient will be awarded the full tuition for an Outward Bound classic course of their choosing, round-trip airfare, and full outfitting in Mammut alpine clothing and gear. Aspiring outdoor adventurers can submit their application between November 1st 2003 and April 15th, 2004, with the winning application to be announced on April 30th. Applications can be obtained online at http://www.climbhigh.com, and http://www.outwardbound.org.

“This award and Mammut's partnership with Outward Bound is proving its purpose: to nurture outdoor leadership in young people,” said Jeff Cunningham, Marketing Director for Climb High/Mammut. “The application process is really open to anyone expressing and demonstrating a passion for the outdoors, and a desire to further pursue their outdoor leadership skills.” Liz Nehme of Lynchburg Virginia was the winner of the 2003 Outdoor Appreciation award, and has chosen to attend the Hurricane Island Outward bound School's wilderness leadership program in December.
