Cleveland Golf has promoted David Hunter to the newly created position of director of field marketing. 


Hunter is a seven year veteran of Cleveland Golf, having served most recently as the company’s business unit leader for irons. In his new role, Hunter will oversee all Field Marketing activities, which includes the company’s Tech Van Program, Scoring Clinics, Key Account Marketing Relationships, and Product Launch Promotions.


“This is a perfect match.  Our company and our customers will benefit greatly from the work David will do in this new position;” stated Cleveland Brand Manager Chuck Thiry. “It’s an area of our business that gains importance every day.  David’s management and coordination skills, along with his understanding of our Field Marketing needs, make him a natural for this new position.”


Hunter joined Cleveland Golf in 2003 and was quickly promoted to Field Promotion Manager, a position he held until being tapped to oversee the company’s Iron business in 2007. Prior to joining Cleveland Golf, Hunter worked at Dove Canyon Country Club, in Orange County, California. He is a graduate of The Professional Golfers Career College and a veteran of The United States Army, where he served four years and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
