Clarus Corporation said its senior managers and board of directors will preside over the NASDAQ closing bell ceremony on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the company's recent listing on the NASDAQ Global Market. The company's common stock began trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on June 11, 2010 under the trading symbol “BDE,” a reference to Black Diamond Equipment, which Clarus acquired in a reverse merger May 31.
“It is an honor to ring the NASDAQ closing bell and to celebrate the inauguration of this newly formed public company platform,” said Warren B. The company also noted that it intends to seek the approval of shareholders to change its name to “Black Diamond Equipment” during its annual meeting to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 5, 2010.
