Christy Sports, one of the largest ski and snowboard retailers in the Rocky Mountain region, announced the opening of a new location in Breckenridge, CO, at 211A North Main Street. The new location is Christy Sports sixth location in Breckenridge and is 1,800 square feet.
The new store opened this past weekend and provides ski and snowboard rental equipment and demo packages to better serve skiers in the Breckenridge area. The store will also carry a wide range of ski and snowboard accessories, making the slopes more enjoyable and comfortable.
The new store is located at the base of the gondola and will serve skiers at the north end of town. With this convenient location, skiers and snowboarders will be able to pick up their equipment and walk to the gondola. With multiple locations in the area, customers can visit any store for service or repair.
“We are excited about our presence in the north end of town and being able to better serve our customers in Breckenridge no matter where they are skiing at,” said Brian Sullivan, director of operations for Summit County at Christy Sports. “Being by the gondola provides us with the opportunity to fill a void in the area by opening a ski shop that will allow customers to purchase goods that are needed for hitting the slopes and removes the hassle of customers carrying their equipment a long distance.”
Christy Sports, based in Lakewood CO, has more than 40 locations throughout Colorado and Utah.
