Charge, the direct-to-consumer electric bike brand, is partnering with the US Open Pickleball Championships for the second year as an official sponsor of the event.
The seven-day competition draws spectators and competitors worldwide, including Charge Bike ambassador and professional pickleball player Catherine Parenteau. Last year Parenteau won gold in the women’s pro doubles and mixed doubles pro.
“Throughout the past year, we’ve continued to see the crossover between pickleball athletes and Charge bike riders. We are excited to be back supporting the US Open Pickleball Championships,” said Molly Harrington, marketing director. “Plus, it will be great cheering on Catherine in person.”
Since its founding in 2016, the event has been held at East Naples Community Park in Naples, FL, using more than 60 courts. This year’s tournament will run from April 23-30. Charge will have a booth at the event offering demo rides.
CBS Sports Network will broadcast the women’s and men’s pro finals live from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. EST on April 30th.
