Chaco announced that their
Flip-Out fundraiser, a Chaco flip sandal sale to benefit the
Conservation Alliance, was a huge success.  Chaco raised over $10,000 at
the recent Outdoor Retailer trade show.  The donation supports the
Conservation Alliance whose mission is to fund community-based campaigns
protecting threatened wild habitats and areas where outdoor enthusiasts
adventure.

“Since becoming a member, almost
16 years ago, Chaco has been a important supporter of our organization,”
according to Serena Bishop Gordon, Conservation Alliance program
associate. “For the third year in a row, Chaco has hosted a fundraising
event on our behalf at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show, raising
meaningful funds to support the mission of The Conservation Alliance;
protecting North America’s last wild
places; the places where we all love to recreate.”
Born
on the river in 1989, Chaco is authentic outdoor footwear that inspires
a lifetime of adventure. What started as a sandal for river guides has
evolved into sandal, shoe, and boot designs that offer Chaco’s
uncompromised support no matter where you roam. All Chaco footwear
features the LUVSEAT™, a uniquely contoured platform that properly
aligns and supports your foot and body to enable a lifetime of
adventure. As a result, the American Podiatric Medical Association
(APMA) has awarded the Seal of Acceptance to many Chaco footwear styles.
The APMA Seal is intended to raise awareness by identifying products
of exceptional quality that are manufactured with comfort, health, and
safety in mind. Simply put, Chaco is fit for adventure. Chaco is a part
of Wolverine Worldwide’s Outdoor Group that also includes Merrell and
