New Balance celebrated the 40th running of the New Balance
Falmouth Road Race on Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Sunday, August 12th at
10:00 a.m. EST.  This historic race continues to be one of the top
non-marathon events on the international circuit with the unique essence
of the original race that made it special.

sponsor for one of New England’s favorite summer races,” says Josh Rowe,
running marketing manager at New Balance. “Being a part of the Falmouth
Road Race allows New Balance to connect with elite and recreational

To honor this historic
running, every 40th runner to cross the 2012 finish line will receive a 1
year subscription to Runner’s World and a limited edition commemorative
t-shirt from New Balance.
 New Balance and Runner’s World will also team up to offer a clinic
titled, “Traditional or Minimal? All Your Footwear Questions Answered”
on Saturday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Falmouth High School Field
House to help runners find the best footwear for their individual
needs.
 
New Balance will have its largest team to
date with 75 associates and agency partners joining hundreds of runners
from elite competitors to charity teams as well as the legendary
Falmouth 5 that have participated in all 39 races. In addition, New
Balance’s President & CEO Rob DeMartini will run for his third
consecutive year.
