CamelBak has hired Hugh Ewing as sales and operations manager. His previous positions include sales operations/customer service manager at Gregory Mountain Products, division manager at HatTail Headwear Division of Streamworks, Inc., and manager of dealer and customer service at ExOfficio.

As liaison between CamelBak and its retailers, one of Hugh’s first assignments will be spearheading the adoption of CamelBak”s new business-to-business suite powered by PlumRiver LLC.

“Hugh brings a wealth of industry experience that were happy to provide to our retailers,” said Layne Rigney, vice president of global sales for CamelBak. “Hugh will also oversee CamelBak’s recently-implemented MAP Program that supports retailers by keeping consumer conversations focused on our best-in-category products instead of price.”

To bolster retailer support CamelBak has also produced digital tools for its retailers, including over 80 detailed product videos that can be found on www.camelbak.com. These videos are also linked through TagReader codes on product hangtags and in advertisements.  CamelBak is also producing a digital catalog that will link individual products to the 80+ videos making product information and education available with the click of a button.
