Cabela's will open its newest destination retail store in Post Falls,
Idaho, on Friday, November 9. The store, Cabela's second in Idaho, is
the company's 24th retail location in the country. Cabela's last year
opened a store in Boise, Idaho.
The 125,000-square-foot, large-format store is part of The Pointe at
Post Falls located at Exit 299 off I-90 and East Appleway Ave. near the
Washington/Idaho State line. The Post Falls store is just east of
Spokane, Wash.
“Bringing Cabela's to Post Falls, our second Idaho location, is a
testament to the region and to those who are passionate about hunting,
fishing, camping and outdoor activities,” said Dennis Highby, Cabela's
president and chief executive officer. “We are proud to bring the
Cabela's shopping and entertainment experience to our loyal customers
on the Northern side of the state.”
Store manager Ron Brekhus will hire up to 250 employees for the location.
