The Bushnell Factory Outlet in Lenexa, KS, has closed after 25 years in operation.
Revelyst, the parent of Bushnell, last year closed Bushnell’s headquarters in Overland Park, KS and consolidated many of its outdoor performance brands into one office in Bozeman, MT. Revelyst’s adventure sports and outdoor performance brands also include Fox Racing, Simms Fishing Products, Camp Chef, Primos and Hoppes.
The store sold optic gear like binoculars and scopes as well as trail cameras and accessories.
Revelyst said in a statement to Kansas City’s KCTV5, “The Bushnell Factory Outlet in Kansas City has been a valued part of the community, especially when our corporate headquarters were located nearby. With our relocation to Bozeman, Montana, the local connection that once supported the store has naturally shifted. As part of our ongoing efforts to better serve our customers and adapt to their changing shopping preferences, Revelyst has made the decision to close the location. This decision was not made lightly, but it reflects our strategic focus on expanding and improving our digital commerce capabilities. We’re excited about the future and remain committed to delivering the quality and innovation that Bushnell is known for. We also remain committed to supporting our team through this transition and to serving our customers wherever they choose to engage with us.”
