Buck Knives, based in Post Falls, ID, hired Drew Stephens as director of engineering and new product development.
Stephens brings more than sixteen years of professional design experience to the position. Stephens began his career designing manufacturing equipment and consumer products. For eight years, he worked as a design engineer and product development manager for Sims Vibration Laboratory developing outdoor products and accessories in the archery and firearms industries. Stephens’ professional skills include product design, injection mold design, CNC programming, and engineering management. He works collaboratively with production, marketing and other departments for an interdisciplinary approach.

Stephens spent the last seven years working as the director of research and development for Tedder Industries managing a team of engineers and helping to develop and expand consumer brands and products.
