Brown Shoe Company, Inc. promoted Geoff Green to Vice President – Talent Acquisitions. Green will continue to manage domestic and international recruiting for Brown Shoe's offices, distribution centers and more than 1,300 specialty retail footwear stores in North America. His primary goal is to bring top talent to the organization.

Since joining Brown in 2003, Green has been instrumental in pushing key strategic talent and diversity initiatives within the company. He established a college recruiting program that includes Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, Washington University in St. Louis, Howard University in Washington, D.C., and the University of Florida in Gainesville. In addition, he has helped Brown Shoe develop strong partnerships with several local and national organizations that support diversity. Those organizations include the Jackie Robinson Foundation, St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative and the Diversity Officers Network, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Black MBA Association, Professional Organization of Women, and Pride Fest.
