Brixton, best known for its headwear, plans to open a 1,000-square-foot store in Encinitas, CA in November.
The store, at 670 S. Coast Highway 101, will be the brand’s second location. It will offer hat fitting, customized orders, steam cleaning, and in-store pickup from online purchases.
The Oceanside, CA-based company opened its first store in Sydney, Australia in 2019 with plans to a third in Oceanside on South Tremont Street in 2021.
The openings come after Raphael Peck joined the company as CEO in March 2019. Peck was most recently president of Fanatics Brands and previously worked for Oakley, Under Armour and Adidas.
The brand’s s snapbacks and beanies are sold at major chains such as Tilly’s, Zumiez and Nordstrom, and its own stores will enable Brixton to display its wider range of hats and newer apparel offerings.
