Boxercraft said it donated more than 600 apparel items to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The cheerleading apparel company noted that in the emergency room, kids’ clothes are often damaged or cut during treatment. Now, Children’s patients receive fashionable and comfortable Boxercraft apparel replacements in a variety of trendy patterns and colors.

“It’s very comforting to a child to have something that’s not hospital-like,” said Molly Duggan, Child Life Specialist at Children’s. “It makes their time with us a little nicer.”

This is one of the largest donations Children’s has received of new apparel in bulk, and it has allowed them to have different items and sizes in stock. Boxercraft’s donation included fleece shorts, flannel pants, shirts, hoodies, blankets and bags.

“It’s been very helpful,” said Duggan. “If we need to get a kid home or a family comfortable while they’re here, we can do that now.

As a not-for-profit healthcare organization, Children’s runs largely on donations. Boxercraft’s fashionable youth apparel donation directly supports Chidren’s mission to brighten the hospital stay of patients and their families, said Duggan.

Boxercraft is proud to be able to support organizations in its community like Children’s, one of the country’s leading pediatric healthcare providers. As America’s #1 Spiritwear Source, Boxercraft offers fashionable styles for young people, along with lucratice services for its customers.
