Boulder Ski Deals, known to Boulder’s outdoor ski and snowboard enthusiasts for several decades, is getting a new name – Epic Mountain Gear.
The ski shop that has established its loyal following by carrying high-quality brands, offering competitive pricing and delivering individualized customer care in the selection and fitting of outdoor equipment and clothing will remain the same.
“Modest renovations will be part of the new Epic Mountain Gear shop, but the vision for the renamed store is much broader than that,” explained Greg Sullivan, chief operating officer of Vail Resorts Retail, which owns the store. “The name change helps us better integrate with our mountain shops and the larger concept of our resorts, Epic Passes and Epic experiences we provide our guests.”
Vail Resorts Retail operates 239 specialty stores in and around owned and operated Vail Resorts mountain resorts and urban ski areas, including Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stowe, Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton, and Wilmot. Shops are also located in select non-Vail Resort’s destinations in Aspen, Telluride and Winter Park. In addition to these mountain resort locations.
