The Top-Flite Golf Company appointmed James L. “Jamie” Bosworth to the position of VP – U.S. Sales, effective immediately. Bosworth will oversee all of the sales activities at the Company, reporting directly to Top-Flite Golf President and Chief Operating Officer Bob Penicka.
Mr. Bosworth, who joins Top-Flite from Cleveland Golf Company, replaces Lou Tursi, who left the Company to pursue other opportunities.
“We are very pleased to have Jamie join us in this key position,” Mr. Penicka said. “In addition to enthusiasm and vision, he also brings with him a great deal of practical, hands-on experience in the golf business. He has established relationships across the country through his background as a golf professional, a sales representative and brand manager and a sales manager, and we believe he is a great fit to lead the Top-Flite sales force into a new era.”
A 1994 graduate of Seton Hall University, Mr. Bosworth began his professional career as an assistant golf professional at the Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, CA. He joined the Odyssey Golf Company in 1997 as a sales rep, was the 1998 Odyssey Golf Salesperson of the Year and in 2000 moved to the Callaway Golf Company as a sales representative responsible for the Northern New Jersey region. He became a Regional Retail Sales Rep with Callaway Golf in 2001, servicing the 44 largest Callaway Golf customers in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut region. He moved to the Cleveland Golf Company in June of 2003 as its Northeastern Regional Sales Manager.
